Deer Skin is a material and armor item added in update v0.11 to The Forest.
Gameplay[ | ]
Deer skin is similar to lizard skin as an armor, though it will also provide the player with cold armor. It is obtained from deer carcasses. It is not to be confused with a deer skin decoration, which is a building. When the player has max cold armor, they won't be able to take frost damage.
